10/11/01-  Do NOT  hire this company called "Tropical Gutters" based out of Pompano Beach,  Florida.  They do SHITTY work, and refuse to send someone out to fix their shit. .  We got brand new gutters put onto our brand new house and when it pours, the gutters leak.  A very dangerous situation, because it leaks into our window and onto our door bell..  Picture  THEY SUCK!!!

10/12/01-  Just found more support doc on what a lousy business "Tropical Gutters" is.  Check out their info on Better Business Bureau's page.  They did not get a good rating at all.  The staff is rude and they do crappy work.

10/22/01:  I am on appointment # 5  to get the leaky gutters fixed.  I called and spoke to "Andrea" who placed me on hold and then disconnected the call.  So I called back and spoke to a "Mark"  who now tells me that no trucks with work were sent out today because of the rain.    So I called back, and "Andrea" answered again.  I asked how come "Mark"  told me no trucks were sent and she goes.. they were sent . he just didn't know.  They just make up new stories everyday.

I have  never used or dealt with such incompetence in my life!  I have now talked to: "Lilly"  the office manager.  "Mark" "Andrea"  "Andrew"  and I want to talk to the owner, who is "Manny"

10/23/01: I called to give them one last chance to fix this before I seek other actions.  when  I called, a man picked up, I asked for Lilly, but he tells me that she no longer works there.   I tell him my situation, he tells me to hold.  and  "Andrea" picks up the  phone and places me on hold for 10mins and disconnects the call.  Great customer service.

So being the stubborn person that I am, I called back,  and this time "Mike" answers. and tells me that "Lilly" was fired yesterday for not giving messages to them.  So, I said whatever, and I have an appointment with them at like 8:30am.  Who knows if they'll show..  I guess we'll see.

4/22/02:  as of today, the gutters no longer leak, but  the patch that was used doesn't even match the original gutter.  i am just happy it doesn't leak anymore  

4/23/03 - A picture of this "fix" will be posted soon. I just realized it might be a good idea to do this :|
